KX Matrikx CR1 Cyst & Chlorine Removal Filters
KX MATRIKX® CR1® Series 0.5 Micron Carbon Block Filters are manufactured from extruded activated carbon media for Cyst, Chlorine Taste & Odor Reduction. The CR1 filter cartridges meet NSF/ANSI Standard 53 for Turbidity and Cyst reduction. They are the most effective filter available for the combined reduction of cysts (including Cryptosporidium, Giardia, Entamoeba and Toxoplasma) and control of large volumes and concentrations of chlorine taste and odor. MATRIKX® CR1® filters are tested and certified by WQA to NSF/ANSI 42 for material requirements. Available in two sizes: 2.5" x 10" and 2.5" x 20".
