Overview:

• The 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Whole House Large Diameter Stainless Steel Water Filter Housing SS12 EPE-316L filters all incoming water for your home or light commercial application. This means that the housing design can be used on both chlorinated (municipal) and non-chlorinated (well water) systems and in a number of different applications. In addition, the SS12-EPE-316L housing provides unrestricted flow of up to 96 gpm/363.4 lpm with 2” NPT inlet/outlet connections. Some other noteworthy features include:
• Maximum of 150 psi/1,034 kPa pressure
• Maximum use temperature of 250°F/121°C
• For use with various standard diameter drop-in style cartridges for sediment and chlorine taste and odor reduction
• The stainless steel housing assembly with 2” NPT inlet/outlet connections helps provide high flow rates of up to 96 gallons per minute (gpm) /363.4 liters per minute (lpm) to meet the needs of most residential and light commercial applications. The 316L electro-polished housing with mirror-like finish is a highly corrosion resistant material. The heavy duty band clamp and gasket provide maximum durability. In addition, this stainless steel housing accepts 12 double open ended style cartridges such as: AP110, AP124, AP117 or the AP420. Once installed, these reduce sediment, scale and chlorine taste and odor.
