Pentek C Series 5 micron carbon block cartridges are made from carbon-impregnated cellulose media. The C Series Filters are used in general water filtration where sediment particles and unwanted chlorine taste and odor are present. They are available in a variety of sizes. The C1 Series is Tested and Certified by NSF International to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material requirements.
